A Bride's Account on How to Achieve Flawless Skin For Your Wedding

Your wedding day will be something to cherish for a lifetime — and you’ll have all of the pictures of that memorable day to remember. So, making an investment in your skin is a serious no-brainer. Start prepping six months out to get your best complexion for the big day.

It is very important to do extensive research to find the best skin-care consultant in your area. Choose a spa or clinic that offers a wide range of services to give your skin everything it might need. Before you commit to any treatments or book any services, schedule a meeting and ask questions; discuss cost, potential side effects, and the results you can expect. Keep in mind that while a treatment may have been fabulous for a friend, it may not be right for you.

#1. Sparkling Skin Program
My consulting doctor was Dr Low Chai Ling and she mentioned that ideally, one should start planning ahead if they want to get clear and smooth complexion before the wedding. I had some tell tale acne scars from my teenage years so she recommended for me to start on the Sparkling Skin Program to work on my skin laxity and acne scars pronto - as of all laser treatments, one will need about 6 to 8 sessions for optimal results. The Sparkling Skin Program can renew your youthful luminosity in a flash and is a breeze to fit into your pitiful pool of ‘me’ time. Steeped in all things fabulous, this anti-dullness and anti-aging treatment protocol combines SmartX Lite Light and LED phototherapy to spark new love for your skin, so you look and feel sparkling in a jiffy.

After a couple of sessions, my skin texture was visibly more enhanced. The laser also corrected my imperfections and fine lines.

Cheek Contouring - Unfortunately, as we age, our cheekbones lose their volume, forming unlovely jowls and folds. Well that was what happened to mine. I craved for killer cheekbones like Angelina Jolie. If you have ever contoured your face using cosmetics, you will see a similar effect with Cheek Sculpt, albeit without the cosmetic aid. Cheek Sculpt is a specialised technique that uses highly structural hyaluronic acid fillers to augment and define the natural prominence of your cheeks, giving you the appearance of higher cheekbones. The aim of Cheek Sculpt is not to chase lines or volumise the face. Rather it is to bring out the natural beauty and optimal proportions of each face. As such, some faces require less sculpting while others will benefit from more coaxing. Everything is pulled up when you fill in the cheeks. Building up the cheeks has become the ultimate solution in anti-aging. The results last anywhere from eight months to a year, and there is virtually no downtime. After the treatment, my cheeks were visibly more lifted!

Revialift Undereye - I call this the sleep in a tube for dark panda eyes and bags. Revitalift Undereye can lift the youth-draining hollows, along with their shadowy companions – right before your eyes! The treatment levels out undereye hollows, replenish and quench dry thinned skin, ignite a lit-from-within brilliant glow, and restore dermal elasticity for a youthful bounce as you spring across the winning line. Goodbye eyebags and dark eye circles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After 6 months of intensive beautifying treatments, I am now more confident! My skin is glowing these days and even my friends and family complimented me on my wedding day on my improved visage. I would really like to thank The Sloane Clinic to thank for making me look even better than before.
